Amazing Ways to use your odd socks

Are you like me? Do you have an ever increasing pile of odd socks? Odd Sock Image
I hate to throw things away, especially if it going to end up in landfill. The pile led me on a quest for projects to make with odd socks, inevitably resulting in a pinterest board.

I decided I would have a go at making the Owl socks.. Owl Socks, odd socks, what would you make

I followed the tutorial over atHowtomakeadoll with some modifications, mainly adding the eyes, beak and embroidery prior to stuffing.Sock Owl Collage

The tot, when realising they were his old socks, gave them the sniff test bringing a round of laughter – he advised it was OK they don’t smell of his feet! Phew!Collection of sock owls

Hoping you are inspired to reuse your old socks, what will you make?
