When I got accepted in the affiliate program on Craftsy, one of the major surprise was that it came with a gift: $50 dollars to get any of their online courses.I chose Sewing with Knits: 5 wardrobe essentials in a heart beat.  Why?  Because I love wearing knits!  They are the most comfortable, practical, and flattering fabric on a nowadays lifestyle; it adapts perfectly to any figure, so I do not need to worry if I gain a few pounds during wintertime ;).

However, there is a misconception in the sewing world (specially at the beginning-intermediate level) that knit fabrics are difficult to work it.  More specifically, that you will need a special equipment in order to succeed on your knit projects.   And I know this because I thought the same way for YEARS.

I am glad I chose this course for so many reasons, but mainly because It is a smart and easy way to learn a new technique:

The course comes with 10 HD video lessons, easy to follow, able to stop anytime you need and able to make notes on any part of the session you want-so you can go back and see that technique over an over again!

Meg McElwee-author of So Liberated- is the tutor (and master LOL) of this course. She is very clear and easy to understand.  Besides, with the purchase of this course, you can actually ask her questions about the techniques used on the virtual classroom! (how cool is that? :))In addition, you can talk to a whole community of students enrolled in the class (5.000+) and share your projects on Craftsy.

The course comes with 5 FREE patterns and the step-by-step tutorial of each of them, plus printable resources and links of online stores specialized on knit fabrics.

The price of this course is $40.99 and it is worth every penny!
