how to make the Faux Wrap Top
Place the front and back bodice pieces together, right sides facing.
Pin the shoulder seams and stitch it with a zig zag or overlock stitch with a 3/8 inch seam allowance.
Press the seams flat.
Open the seams flat.
If you are making the top or dress without the optional ruffles, fold the neckline 1/2 inch to the inside and stitch it with a zigzag stitch or use a twin needle to finish it.
Then, fold the bodice back to front and back and pin the side seams with a 3/8 inch seam allowance.
Then stitch it with a zigzag or overlocking stitch.
Stitch the side seam including the sleeves as well.
Then, fold the sleeves bottom with a 1/2 inch seam allowance.
Fold the bottom area of the top 1 inch to the inside.
Press it flat and stitch it with either a zigzag stitch or a twin needle.
The download only comes in size 18, is that intentional? The top looks lovely but I’d probably need a size 10…
