Since the weather has finally started changing and the days are getting colder, I decided to make a vest for my Owen.
What I love about the design is how easy it will be to make it for little girls, as well.
Some fabrics that I will suggest for this project:
For the main fabric
1/4 yard of contrasting bias tape
This will be the layout of your pattern:It will print 12 pages. Wait until all the pages are printed before taking them from the printer; it will make it easier to assemble. When finished printing, place the pages as the layout below. Then use tape to put them together.
Sometimes, there are problems with the printing process and the patterns come in the wrong size (a little bit smaller). To avoid this, check the 1 inch square inside of the front bodice pattern.
It will help you to see if the patterns are the correct size. The PDF pattern comes in sizes from 3 to 8; 3 being for size 3 years to 8 being for eight years (US Size).
If you have any doubts about the sizes, please refer to the body measurement chart
The colors for each size are:
This pattern comes with a 3/8 inch seam allowance, unless indicated otherwise.
For 45” wide fabric: 1 to 1 1/2 yards of the main fabric and the same amount of lining.

first of all I want to thank you for all the free patterns and all the work you did for us !!
I have a problem to find the step-by-step tutorial to make the simple vest.
Thanks for your comment.
I emailed you 🙂
I’m missing the tutorial. It says page not found!
Sorry about that. Link fixed! 🙂
Please help, I’m very confused about the sizing. It says it comes in size 4 to 22 in the text then in the chart it starts at size 1. I’m sooooo confused
Sorry about that. The text has been fixed.
Size 1 is for 1 year, and size 8 it is for 8 years.
Hi, thank you for this pattern!
Although it seems very doable, I would like to read the tutorial to be sure ? but the link doesn’t seem to work. Could you maybe send it to me? Thank you!
