This is the update version of the popular Sofia Skirt pattern for women.

The Sofia skirt pattern is an easy beginner’s project.
The skirt features:
– a wide yoke
– a gathered knee length skirt.
You will need to know how to create gathers and how to insert an invisible zipper.

PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS
This printable PDF pattern is assembled by OVERLAPPING THE PAGES 1 INCH.
In this way, you will avoid confusion with the patterns sizing and final fitting.
The pattern includes a 3/8 inch Seam Allowance. Make sure that you are using the right size pattern by checking on the finished measurement chart.

The pattern comes with 2 inches of ease at waist and hips.
Sofia Skirt Pattern comes in letter and A4 format.
The pages will overlap 1 inch. Please, check the border marks on the pages to make the pattern pieces fit correctly.

Materials:
- Printed pattern
- 1. 75 yards or 2 metres of woven fabric.
- Matching thread
- 4 inches long zipper
- Light weight interfacing
- Pins
7. Measuring tape or ruler
8. Scissors
Fabric Recommendations:
Light and medium weight fabrics such as cotton and linen.
Yardage Calculation:
1.75 yards (2 metres) of lightweight to medium weight woven fabric.

We can’t get “letter” size paper here in Australia, only A4 which is slightly narrower and longer. Any chance you have the ability to adjust settings on your PDF to allow it to be printed on A4 as well? Or do you think it might work anyway? I’ve tried googling ways to do it and can’t find anything.

Hi Laura,
I am just working on the update version of the sofia skirt. It will come in A4, letter and A0, which is good if you want 1 page printed on a copy shop. the pattern and the pictures should be ready soon, but posted next month. I can send you an update to you email if you like?

How many do I need to cut for the front of the skirt 1 or lying on the fold of the fabric??
