Bring the front bodice pieces to the table and close the bust darts.
Press the darts downward toward the waist.
Make sure both sides are symmetrical and well pressed.

Place the front and back bodice pieces right sides together.
Align the shoulder seams carefully and pin in place.
Stitch the shoulder seams with a 3/8 inch seam allowance and press the seams open.

Join the side seams by placing the front and back bodice right sides together.
Pin along the sides, matching the armholes and waistline.
Stitch using a 3/8 inch seam allowance and press the seams toward the back.

4.

Bring the sleeves to the table and close the elbow darts.
Fold each sleeve in half, right sides together, and press flat.
Stitch the sleeve seam with a 3/8 inch seam allowance.
Double fold the cuffs with a 3/8 inch seam allowance and press.
Topstitch the cuffs using a 1/8 inch seam allowance.
