Craftsy Class Review: Designing Your Wardrobe, Drafting Tops
Hi everyone,
Thank you for visiting us today.
This is the review of the Craftsy Class Review: Designing Your Wardrobe, Drafting Tops
If you are new at Craftsy, you will find that they have hundreds of classes about sewing, quilting and other areas.
I have loved its platform for its easiness, and practicality; it helps me to learn more and stay connected to a growing community of sewists.

THE CLASS
I bought this class a month ago and I have watched it a few times since then. And I love it!
I must tell you though, I am a big fan of Suzy’s work and I have got all her classes from the Craftsy platform, so when I saw this new Designing and Drafting class at Craftsy, it was seriously a no brainer to get it for two reasons in particular:
- I wanted to see how she was going to link her previous classes on drafting a bodice to this, more advanced class in which I will be able to adapt the bodice sloper to a limited amount of patterns.
- I was curious to see her designing and inspiration process; how to find your own voice within your wardrobe.
I am very pleased with the result of this class as a more detail approach to the bodice sloper. The patterns are very practical and complementary to most figures. The pace of the lessons in fast but very detailed.
Besides, I really enjoy the designing process, how to get ideas from different sources and get the sense of your own style.
So, here is what you get when purchasing the class:
Lesson 1. Designing a collection: My favorite part of the class. Super inspiring!
Lesson 2. Sleeveless Shell: Fantastic! A way to use those scraps from your fabric stash 🙂
Lesson 3: Closures, Edge Finishes & Pattern Standards: A little bit of the details on this class.

I would love to know your opinions.
