I have loved its platform for its easiness, and practicality; it helps me to learn more and stay connected to a growing community of sewists.

THE CLASS

I bought this class a month ago and I have watched it a few times since then. And I love it!

I must tell you though, I am a big fan of Suzy’s work and I have got all her classes from the Craftsy platform, so when I saw this new Designing and Drafting class at Craftsy, it was seriously a no brainer to get it for two reasons in particular:

I wanted to see how she was going to link her previous classes on drafting a bodice to this, more advanced class in which I will be able to adapt the bodice sloper to a limited amount of patterns.
I was curious to see her designing and inspiration process; how to find your own voice within your wardrobe.

I am very pleased with the result of this class as a more detail approach to the bodice sloper. The patterns are very practical and complementary to most figures. The pace of the lessons in fast but very detailed.

Besides, I really enjoy the designing process, how to get ideas from different sources and get the sense of your own style.

Lesson 2. Sleeveless Shell: Fantastic! A way to use those scraps from your fabric stash 🙂

Lesson 3: Closures, Edge Finishes & Pattern Standards: A little bit of the details on this class.

Lesson 4. T-Shirt Variations: Great option for any season. It is go to top in my closet.

Lesson 5. Peplum Top: Peplums are back! Those green fabrics are so beautiful and flattering.

Lesson 6. Knit Wrap Jacket: I love this part. The wrap top is so easy to make and practical to have in your closet.
