Hello there!
Welcome to On the Cutting Floor 🙂
This is the tutorial to make a reversible tote bag for this summer.
I made this tote bag for a gift. My aunt asked me months ago to get a bag with the Frida Khalo’s fabric I had just purchased. The fabric stayed in my closet for months and months.
I loved the print, but I find it a bit to big to make just a tote bag with that print only. So, I came up with the idea of making this tote bag with two different fabrics.
The red is cotton sateen and it went very well for this project.
The idea of the reversible tote bag came as an after thought. If I knew beforehand, I would have chosen a different pattern to the inside (maybe stripes, maybe just one print) For next time 😉
Enjoy
