The Totes Ma Tote By Emmaline Bags (giveaway and discount)
Hello everyone,
I am very happy to introduce my participation for the Canadian Sewing Blog Hop; it is the celebration of Canada and all the amazing Canadian resources you can find online.
I do not usually participate on blog tours (the lack of time), but this is a special occasion for me: as a fairly new Canadian I was very excited to be part of this and introduce to you some amazing sewing designers and bloggers.

I have chosen to work with an Emmaline Bags pattern because her work is professional and beautiful. I was a fan of her work before, so it was a no brainer to take the chance to talk about the pattern.
The Totes Ma Tote
First of all, I have to confess that I did not look at the pattern until the last day. As I mentioned before, I never have enough time and it truly regret that now.
I realized that I did not have all materials to make the bag waaay too late to even think of purchasing the missing supplies. All my fault.
So the result you have seen here is the basic shell and the traps adaptation I made to the pattern.
The pattern is beautiful. It comes with 17 pages of comprehensive instructions to make the Totes Ma Tote bag. You will find pictures and full detailed explanations of how to get this gorgeous bag done.

My favourite sewing story is about helping my daughter learn to sew for a class project.
She had to do a creative project to show import dates in her life. She chose to sew different blocks expressing the event/situation. I showed her how to do simple machine applique and she was off and running. I was so proud of her. Her mini quilt turned out amazing 🙂

Ah, Daniela! Another person with half finished bags sitting around. The curse of sewists and designers everywhere. It looks great so far, though. I hope you’ll post again when you do finish it.

I hope it just the first step 🙂
