Blog Income Report: April 2015

May 27, 2015 by Daniela 2 Comments

Hello Everybody,

Thanks for visiting us today.  This is the monthly income report for April 2015.

April was an amazing month. Full of surprises and accomplishments.

I am very happy with the weebly to wordpress migration results.  It has been a lot of work, and a huge learning curve for me to handle (besides running the blog as usual), but now (almost) everything is in place.

Definitely a time for vacation.

Besides, Owen my son, has started going to a daycare 3 days a week.  This has given me time to elaborate my projects and create a collection of clothing patterns that I will be testing and launching in 2015.  I am very excited about it!

In terms of the blog, the numbers has been steady.  The number of visitors has been into the 100K + for the last couple of months and the social media followers have steadily increased by 40 to 50 people per day.

These are the first 10 traffic sources for the blog.

This month has been the first time the main page of the blog has ranked 1 on destination page.  Even thought, I am not completely sure why, I would suggest that the “rich pins” implemented by Pinterest has given me good results.

    Hi there,

I opened your page last night to download this pattern and today found the tutorial has disappeared from here and Craftsy. Is this something to do with the migration?

    Thanks for some great ideas!

Hi Abena, Thanks for your message.
The patterns have been moved to a new platform: Payhip. The links from the patterns will re direct you to that store instead of Crafsy. The pattern files contain the tutorial and the letter size pattern.
      Happy Sewing 🙂
