MATERIALS:

1. 1 1/2 yard of knit fabric
2. Coordinating thread
3. Ballpoint needle
4. Twin needle

MEASUREMENT CHART:

INSTRUCTIONS:

 PLACE FRONT AND BACK BODICE PIECES TOGETHER, RIGHT SIDES FACING.

MATCH SIDE SEAMS AND SHOULDER SEAMS TOGETHER.

STITCH THE SHOULDER AND SIDE SEAMS WITH A 3/8 INCH SEAM ALLOWANCE.  PRESS FLAT.

SET THE BODICE ASIDE.

NOW BRING THE SLEEVES TO THE TABLE AND FOLD THEM IN HALF.

PRESS FLAT AND STITCH THE ARMHOLE WITH A 3/8 INCH SEAM ALLOWANCE.

PRESS AGAIN AND TURN THE SLEEVE TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FABRIC.

BRING THE BODICE BACK TO THE TABLE AND INSERT THE SLEEVES INTO THE TOP.

PIN SLEEVES AND BODICE TOGETHER.

STITCH THE ARMHOLE SEAMS WITH A 3/8 INCH SEAM ALLOWANCE.  PRESS FLAT.

NOW BRING THE SLEEVES TO THE WRONG SIDE OF THE FABRIC AND PRESS AGAIN.

THEN, FOLD THE SLEEVE CUFFS WITH A 1/2 INCH SEAM ALLOWANCE AND THE HEMLINE WITH 1’’ S/A.

PRESS THEM FLAT AND STITCH THE HEMLINE AND CUFFS WITH A ZIGZAG OR OVER LOCKING STITCH.

TURN THE TOP TO THE RIGHT SIDE.

THEN, BRING THE NECKBAND TO THE TABLE AND FOLD IT IN HALF, WIDTHWISE.

THEN, UNFOLD THE SIDE SEAM OF THE NECKBAND, AND STITCH THEM TOGETHER WITH A 3/8 INCH SEAM ALLOWANCE.

PLACE THE NECKBAND ON THE BODICE AND PIN THEM TOGETHER.
LEAVE THE NECKBAND SEAM ON THE BACK OF THE TOP.

NOW STITCH THEM TOGETHER WITH A 3/8 INCH SEAM ALLOWANCE.

THEN, TURN TO THE NECKBAND TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FABRIC AND PRESS FLAT.

STITCH THE NECKBAND SEAM WITH A 1/8 INCH SEAM ALLOWANCE.

And that is all!

ABOUT THE PATTERN Materials 1 1/2 yards of knit fabric like the one here used in this pattern Printed patterns Matching thread Ballpoint needle Scissors Printing Instructions: This printable PDF pattern is assembled BY OVERLAPPING THE PAGES ½ centimeter . That will make it easier to assemble and avoid further fitting issues. The pattern comes in letter size paper. To print this pattern, go the PDF document. Select   FILE — PRINT. This will be the layout of your pattern FREE SEWING PATTERN: The yoga skirt It will print 35 pages. Wait until all the pages are printed before taking them from the printer; it will make it easier to assemble.When finish printing, place the pages as the layout below. Then, use tape to put them together. Now cut the pieces.Sometimes there are problems with the printing process and the patterns come out in the wrong size.  To avoid this, please check the 1 inch square in the first page of the pattern.  It will help you to see if the pattern is in the right size.The PDF pattern comes in sizes 4 to 22. FREE PATTERN ALERT:

Easy short sleeve t-shirt

MATERIALS:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.  Gather all materials to create your short sleeve t-shirt.

2.  Pin the shoulder area together, right sides facing.  Then, stitch it with a zigzag or overlocking stitch.  Press the seams flat.

3.  Repeat this on the other shoulder side and press flat.

4.  Then, open the bodice front and back pieces.

5.  Add the sleeves to the bodice, making sure you match the notches on the front and back sleeves to the front and back armholes.

6.  Then, fold the t-shirt and pin the side seams including the sleeves together with a 3/8 inch seam allowance.

After this, stitch the side seams and sleeves with a zigzag or overlocking stitch.

7. Now, fold the sleeve cuffs with a 1” seam allowance and press flat.  Stitch the cuffs with a zigzag stitch or use a twin needle.  Remember to turn the shirt to the right side to use the twin needle.

8.  Repeat this with the hemline area.

9.  Finally, fold the neckline to the inside with a 1” seam allowance.  Press and softly stretch the fabric to adjust the neckline.

Use either a zigzag or a twin needle to stitch the neckline together.

And that is all!
